In September 2023, I had the idea to create a handmade sign for my employer in celebration of Boss’s Day. I borrowed a Cricut machine, purchased some wood, and got to work. I truly enjoyed the process, and the finished product was a hit—the bosses loved it and proudly displayed it in the lobby for all to see. That project unexpectedly sparked a new creative passion.

Inspired, I purchased my own Cricut and began experimenting with vinyl, designing simple signs and fun sayings to decorate our basement bar. Soon after, the company asked if I could apply their logos to a few hoodies. After doing some research and learning how to use heat transfer vinyl, I completed the project successfully—and realized just how much I enjoyed bringing ideas to life through custom designs.

Since then, I’ve continued to expand my skills and have been creating personalized items for friends and family. With growing interest in my work, I decided it was time to take the next step and turn this passion into a small business.
Designs By Sassy B was created to share my handmade creations with a wider audience. Many of my items reflect my own sassy personality, though I also offer more understated and classic designs.
